Most women know what it is to have painful periods at some time, and up to 50% have reported that such severe pain disrupts lives, Aromatherapy can be a natural way to help deal with period pains.

What causes it?

As part of the regular monthly cycle of a woman, the body prepares for a possible pregnancy by building up the lining of the uterus. If at the end of this session, no pregnancy results, this food must be shed (that period), to be replaced by a new one. To remove feed womb goes into recession (cramps), similar to, but not as severe as seen in infancy. It is this contraction that cause pain in the period. During the recession, the blood vessels in the wall of the uterus compressed, temporarily reducing the supply of blood, and therefore oxygen, to the womb. This triggers the release of chemicals, some of which produce pain and others (called prostaglandins) that stimulate even stronger decline. Level of pain experienced depends on the strength of contractions

Some women are fortunate and feel only mild pain or dull ache. Others experience cramps that violence has a serious impact on their quality of life. Severe pain period known as dysmenorrhoea. Pain period may be worse when we’re feeling particularly emotional or stressed, or when we are also experiencing pain from other causes. Menstrual pain usually become milder after a woman has given birth to her first child.

How to reduce period pain naturally

Many women who experience dysmenorrhoea are reported using painkillers. If however, you want to try a more natural way to reduce the pain of time, here are some suggestions:

  • Stress may increase period pains so try to minimize stress at this time. Certain essential oils are known to help reduce stress, try taking a hot bath with four drops of one of the following essential oils (geranium, neroli, Palma rosa and / or Clary Sage) (or you could try a combination). You can also add oils to heated pad (add oil, by heating) or a hot water bottle and place it on the lower abdomen or back (be careful not to burn the skin).
  • Aromatherapy massage. Recent studies have found that a gentle massage with two drops of lavender (Lavandula officinalis), one drop of clary sage (Salvia sclarea) and one drop of Rose (Rosa Centifolia) oil to 5 ml of almond oil significantly reduced the severity of menstrual cramps compared with women who received no treatment and those who received massage with almond oil only.
  • Constipation can also increase the pain period, so it is important to maintain regular bowel movements at this time. Eating lots of fiber and drink lots of water, especially as some women get dehydrated at this time.
  • It has also been reported

  • Regular exercise, such as swimming, walking or cycling, to reduce period pain, it can, of course, also to avoid constipation.

When there are periods of pain not normal?

Severe pain period should always be investigated to check whether there is another cause can be treated. Usually, if you have had a severe pain period from bleeding first began, it is less likely that a particular cause will be found. However, conditions such as endometriosis can sometimes cause severe pain from an early age (though the pain usually worsens with every monthly cycle). Other causes severe pain period, the uterus, pelvic inflammatory disease, and sometimes narrowing of the cervix.

The best guide is to first try to find a simple way to manage the pain that works for you. If this does not control the pain, or the pain begins to interfere with your life, prevent you from working or dealing with daily tasks, then talk to your doctor.

How to give erotic massage: massage oil

Why massage oil?

A lot of people think grabbing some hand cream or body lotion would do just fine for a massage, or worse (shudder) to “dry” massage. If you like this erotic massage to really catch erotic point, you have a real massage oil; something that will absorb a little bit into the skin, soften it, but also allows you to maintain smooth, steady movements massage.

You also want a massage oil to be something that you use only erotic massage . You want to get to the point where you can take a whiff of oil and have your body ready to rumble. You want to walk into the room the day, grab Lake residual smell of massage oil, and a smile on my what you did in that room the night before. You want to put a small drop of massage oil behind the ear, so that when you and your partner are out on the town, a party or a business meeting, perhaps at a restaurant, he will reach scent as it wafts past him, and he driven insane until he can get you one. Lubriderm lotion is not going to do it for you!

But let’s back up a bit here, take a step back and look at the bigger picture.

Brief History

oils and aromatherapy has been around for a long time. Just look in the Bible. Remember when Mary Magdalene anointed the feet of Jesus? Not only was she applied essential oils, but had to do it through massage. Mary knew the power of massage. It is a way to relax, relieve stress, interest, and “SR motor”, so to speak.

Oils have been around much longer than the Biblical times, though. About 2700 years before Christ, the Chinese were using herbs and burning oil.

Egyptians used oil of the mummification process, then finally apply the same herbs and oils to everyday life. In fact, Cleopatra used exotic and erotic jasmine oil to distract Marc Antony in business meetings (Ladies, take note!).

in India, practitioners of Ayurveda, a form of chemotherapy, employed the use of aromatherapy and massage. Greeks used oils for aromatherapy, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Romans used oils after bathing, and Aztec had a large number of herbs and plants. In 980 AD, in the Far East, the art of distilling alcohol led to the development of more modern perfumes.

I think it would not be too far-reaching to say that almost every culture at one time or another took advantage of natural resources and waste oils and massage.

How does it work?

Essential oils work in several ways. First, and probably most obvious, is the smell. The nose is an amazing organ. Ever notice how fleeting aroma wafting across the street can take you back in time 20 years to when you encountered this odor first? You may recall that point in vivid detail; much more detail, in fact, the photo could come back. Have you ever been a smell that reminds you of a certain person? Have you ever found yourself attracted to someone and not know why, only to find out later that it was the smell that he or she was wearing that aroused your interest? There are good reasons why. The nose is directly hardwired to your brain.

When the scent is inhaled particles aroma picked up by nerve endings in the back of the nose. The signal is then passed up to the brain, especially the limbic system.

The limbic system is the home of the hypothalamus, which in turn houses the pituitary gland. The pituitary gland, among other things, is responsible for the hormone. See where I’m going with this

Nose – to – limbic system – to – the hypothalamus – to – pituitary – to – the hormone released

There are different neurochemicals that are triggered by smell and cause mood swings. The first is familiar to just about everyone- Endorphine. Endorphin is a natural body hair. ENDORPHINE are typically associated with pain. Everyone has heard about a man who shot and did not know it, or the person who has broken a limb and do not feel pain. Thank great hormone Endorphine for it! ENDORPHINE are actually stronger than morphine, which is probably why the concept breaks down the “endo”, which means “within” and “phin”, which means “morphine”; literally the word means “morphine within.”

But pain is not the only job of ENDORPHINE. Elevated levels of these hormones seen after exercise and sex, as well. It is associated with feelings invicibility, enjoyment, calmness, and attunement with your body.

The neurochemical triggered by smell is serotonin. Serotonin is a calming hormone. It is associated with sleep, mood, movement, chest and abdomen.

Is it any wonder that aromatherapy is a great way to relax, calm, and enticing?

So now the nose has picked up the scent of oil has triggered a mad rush of hormones in the body. You can say, is a temporary condition. One could get used to the smell of oil and it is less effective, or during the evening hormonal effects dissipate. But there is more. The oils are also absorbed by fat cells, and the essential oils used in massage, whether erotic or not, drugs part of herbs are also new. Combine that with the effects of massage itself -stimulation traffic and heat production, not to mention easing tense muscles -. And you have excellent vehicle in which to completely spoil your partner with luxury

Introduction of essential oils

I personally believe that massage with essential oils is one of the most erotic feelings life. As I said before, the massage itself, along with the scent is magical enough, but what I think really makes massage with essential oils so special is the care that is given with a masseuse.

When a company takes the time to choose, mix, and then apply the oils on your body, he or she is telling you that you are worth the time. Your partner is telling you that you are worth playing, worth pampering, and he or she thinks you’re beautiful.

Psychologically, essential oils and massage do as much for the soul and, indeed, the physical benefits, which are not small issues.

The main focus of this combination of information on essential oils used for massage. Keep in mind that all of these oils are used for other medicinal reasons other than massage. For our purposes, however, I will try to keep the information about massage oils, erotic and otherwise.

At the end of the report you will find a small guide to the different oils, basic smell, and their characteristics in relation to massage, as well as a good base oil for use in your mixture.

A Warning

favorite essential oil is my almond oil, which are incredibly large number of people allergic to peanuts. NOT USE almond oil with someone who has a nut allergy! You want to send your partner in the throes of passion, not the emergency room with anaphylaxis.

When choosing oils for massage oils

• Pick a few; you do not want mishmash of fragrances.

• Make sure that the essential oil, and base oil are not only edible, but taste good and are not harmful to mucous membranes.

• Be aware of the properties of essential oils you use. Some may heat up, which can be very fun, but might be a bit high for some people. Some are astringent, some can raise blood pressure, and some just taste awful.

• This may sound like a “duh” statement, but find out what your partner wants. If your partner hates quite minted, then massage oil made with peppermint is not going to put him in the mood for love.

There are a few things to keep in mind when mixing oil. First and foremost, many essential oils have therapeutic properties and should be used with caution, especially during pregnancy.

After the list of oils and their properties at the end of this story, there will be a list of oils avoided during pregnancy, some of which can not be registered on the list of oil properties.

Another thing to keep in mind is that oil should never be applied directly to the skin, unless you have been instructed to do so by an experienced aromatherapist. Base Oil must always be used. You want to use about 5 to 6 drops of essential oil per 10 ml of base oil you use. That comes out to about 15 or so drops of essential oil per liter base oil

Oils should be stored in a dark glass bottle -. Never plastic. You will usually find oils stored in amber-colored bottles or blue ones. Avoid rubber cap for oil bottles devices. The oils can eat through the rubber.

And speaking of oil eating rubber, latex condoms will reduce the presence of oil. Again, Jimmy hat will not be of any use if you use oils sexual lubricant, which is bound to happen in erotic massage. There are condoms made of plastic that can withstand the presence of oil, so read the label before you buy! Okay, I’m going to reiterate, as I do not want anyone blame me if Junior was born 9 months from now DO NOT use latex condoms with oil Lubricating oil can cause the condom to BREAK!

moving on …..

store oils in a cool dry place. If stored properly, oils should last one year or so.

by mixing oils, let your mixture sit for a day or so, or at least a few hours, and then go back and smell it again. You may find that the finished product smells a little different from when you first install it. You can set the mixture accordingly. Play around with oils, find a mixture that smells you and experiment with it. If you add 3 drops of sandalwood and 1 drop of chamomile once, the next time you might want to try 2 drops of each, instead of

By the way, the combination of sandalwood and chamomile is a great relaxing. oil mixture.

general tendency for men to enjoy spicy, woody scent, but women are known for favoring floral scent. A combination of both, it would be ideal to massage oil that would please both partners heterosexual relationship. This is, however, a general statement. I am a woman and I prefer spicy scent of blooming myself, and I know a few people that love the smell of some flowers. Regardless, for him / her relationships try a mixture of jasmine and sandalwood (both very erotic oils), or rose and incense.

Men like scents like cinnamon, ginger, clove, nutmeg and coriander. Women seem inclined to fragrances like rose, jasmine, nerolis and ylang-ylang. But, as I said before, this is a general and fun comes from what you and your partner enjoy.

My all-time favorite massage oil is a combination of lavender oil, clove oil, cinnamon, peppermint and rosemary oil, almond oil base. This combination not only smell awesome, but also produces just a touch of heat that can really drive you wild. It also tastes great

Pregnancy and essential oils

Some essential oils can be a uterine stimulant or other effects in pregnancy. While this list is pretty close to complete, there is no way I can be sure I got everything down. In any case, when pregnant, it is always advisable to check with your midwife, herbalist or aromatherapist before any particular essential oils. While some oils are not recommended in early pregnancy, some may actually be useful in the last trimester of pregnancy or in childbirth.

Aromatherapy Oil – What’s so bad about Synthetic Aromatherapy Oils

Aromatherapy oil is a term that can be applied to both natural and synthetic oils. This can be very confusing if you’re already concerned about synthetic oils. As Reed diffusers and aromatherapy candles have become increasingly popular, many buyers have had the experience of being disappointed in either the smell or activity aromatherapy oils used in the product they have purchased. Neither of these elements can be completely attributed to whether the oil is synthetic or natural

activity and the smell of natural aromatherapy oils can affect many things, some that are :. Weather, soil, timing of cultivation, extraction process and quality control. While not many would argue that the therapeutic benefits of synthetic oils, they are cheaper natural oils and often have a powerful smell. Unfortunately, due to lower costs and a common perception that more is better, many of the available aromatherapy oil consumer will contain either low-grade natural oil or synthetic oil.

So, if disappointing smell and reduced efficiency may be present in both natural and synthetic oils aromatherapy, does it really matter that you use? The answer is found by looking at the physical creation of synthetic oils. Synthetic oils differ from natural oils at the molecular level. After the initial excitement of synthetic calmed and science advanced, we have discovered that what they had first to be as reproductions of natural materials are actually worse and not structure or function the same. Not only do they lack the therapeutic efficacy of natural material, they could have potentially harmful side effects such as headaches, skin irritations and allergies. While not enough studies have yet been done, there are concerns over the impact of oil and turpentine used in their creation where the small size of the molecules make them so easily absorbed through the skin. With inferior natural aromatherapy oil you may not experience the wonderful benefits of high quality oil. With synthetic aromatherapy oil you run the risk of harmful side effects.

So, how can you spot a synthetic oil or a product that uses synthetic oils? One of the biggest giveaway is if it’s called perfume or fragrance oil. Unless otherwise noted, most perfume oils mostly synthetic. Perfume industry interested in fragrance and synthetic oils offer economies and often powerful aroma. High quality perfume oils made with real aromatherapy oils are available and are well worth finding. Aside from avoiding harmful side effects of synthetic oils, it could also benefit from a true aromatherapy. Other symptoms synthetic oils are essential oils available only as synthetics (Magnolia, peach, apple, carnation, coconut, etc), and very expensive oils at very low prices. If I felt any of the essays in the line of aromatherapy oils, I would be very suspicious of the whole line.

Aromatherapy – Scam or Real Deal

The term “aromatherapy” was back in 1902’s. As with many discoveries, initial implementation of the concept was the result of an accident. It took place in the laboratory of the French scientist named Rene Maurice Gattefosse. He was working with essential oils in the lab when he burned his arm. Essential oils are aromatic liquid substances extracted from flowers, trees, grasses, roots, fruits and leaves. Gattefosse was quick to fire by putting his arm in a pot on the next liquid, which happened to be lavender essential oils. Since he was very surprised by how quickly the burn healed and how little scar was evident after.
